Nothing to show for it.

I've mentioned the travelling computer shows that come to St. Louis from time to time, where I go to search for bargains on outdated and obscure bits of computer hardware. The local paper has a nice article on the kinds of deals and disasters that can be found at these shows. While I'd hardly recommend one of these sales to anyone who isn't comfortable inside the guts of a PC, they can be a godsend for those of us who need some obscure bits that aren't for sale at the local compuer store.

Seen on Salon:

Tommy Lee offers to play at military bases as punishment

What happens when you combine dry ice and an airplane's plumbing? I laughed until I cried.

Imperfection

The Sci-Fi channel can't see fit to keep a good series like Farscape in production, but they can crank out a new show based on a trilogy of cheesy monster movies? What the frell?
