Darkness Falls

I never thought they'd go through with it, but publishing company White Wolf is bringing an end to its series of modern horror role-playing games. I've never been especially into playing these games, but I have been interested in the metaplot that they've been building for years. They've been hinting at a coming apocalypse for their game world from the very first edition of Vampire: The Masquerade, though. I'm curious to see if this is really the end of the world or simply the beginning of a new one.

On their own site, Pale Puppy say an all-new WoD will launch in August of 2004. (I suspect Hunter was originally meant to be part of that world, and only appeared early because Wraith's line-ending was moved up a few years.) But as Dennis Miller would say these days, that's just my opinion, I could be a liberal.
