The Future of the Future
No, I'm not dead, despite the best efforts of local drivers. Anyway, I just found a piece on the state of science fiction television that confirms some of my fears. It looks like Enterprise will be the best we can expect from American network television for the forseeable future, and even though I haven't completely given up on the show, I know how little that's saying. On the upside, the Sci-Fi channel looks to have a few promising movies and short-form series in the works, and the Beeb's Doctor Who revivial looks like it's really gonna happen.
Woo hoo for the Dr. How many years has this been in the mill? *sigh* the current state of SF movies leaves me rather cold, as well. I've resorted to books once more.
