On May 6, 2003, the mutilated bodies of three children, missing since the previous afternoon, were found in West Memphis, Arkansas. Three young local men were tried and convicted for the murders despite improper police procedures, an inaccurate "confession", and questionable testimony. Now, a decade later, one of the chief witnesses in the case has come forward to claim that her testimony was fabricated in response to police pressure. [via Brad]
