More News when I have it...

Not much to report from Mississippi. When I talked to them this morning, my parents were bound and determined to get to the coast and survey the damage at their home in Long Beach. In the meantime, they've encouraged me to go ahead and take a planned mini-vacation in Kansas City, so that's where I am. When I can get net access (dial-up from my hotel, WiFi at cafes), I'm acting as kind of a family communications hub, relaying messages from relatives and promising to report when I have some news. Not that I have any, but I hope to know something within the next day or so; stay tuned.
