Storm Damage

If you're reading this on the weblog itself, you might have noticed these photos on my Flickr sidebar on the right. If you're reading a feed, or just didn't notice, I've posted a set of pictures Dad sent me showing the damage done by Katrina. The damage is different than I'd realized; I didn't understand that some of the exterior brick walls were broken out, for example. Some of the stuff inside the house is so jumbled around that I can't even imagine where they could have been in the first place. I think I've mostly come to terms with the loss, but this is still depressing to see.
